At a tourney this weekend I had a problem arise with my Flatline 68/4500. The reg would not recharge at its normal rate. It was so slow in fact, that you could hear it recharging the marker after firing 1 shot.
After getting it home and inspecting it, I found no visible problems (ie Dirt, worn reg seat or other o-rings). I cleaned it all with a Q-tip anyway. Oiled the reg piston and put the reg seat back on. And it seems to be working fine.
My biggest concern is after searching the Tech forum I found several threads with similar situations being discribed, but a solution was never posted. Has anyone found out the cause of this problem. Is there an issue with the reg seats? Is it necessary to oil hte reg piston after every day or 2 of use? I would rather not have this happen again in the middle of a tournament, so any input would be greatly appreciated.
