Just to add yet another "I love my Warp" post; I love my warp.

    As said it:

    Pros:

Cuts the profile down and poping up where the first thing people see if your barrel can be a bit shocking to the other guy.

Eliminates the leaning off to the side and having greavity feed problems.

Faster than all but perhaps a Halo B and as such that means less pinches (if you use the LX).

    Cons:

That EVIL battery door! I usually bite it to get it off (you laugh but it's easier on the hands)

Dinky little battery wires that I have not broken yet but are just waiting to rip off. A side effect also of the batter houseing (as it is sized for 2 9v batts) is that the battery jiggles around in there unless like me, you put a piece of foam to hold the 9v on place.

If you get paint juice all in the warp (partictualy on the wheels), your outta there! it's like dragracing on ice, the balls just sit there while the warp spins.

If you are left handed like me and have the warp on the right side, it looks ugly aww please Tom. spend a huge ammount of money and cater to this minority so we can have reverse body Warps that look stylish on the right side j/k.

Yeah and the fact that you run 3 batteries now does get a bit excessive...

Final opinion: I like (check my pict below and see it)

I got one recently, but only got to play two games with it - as I stupidly dumped a pot with a broken ball into my hopper - ended up with paint coating the inside of the hopper, warp, warp hose.....argh. :)

The weight is an issue, I found it made my Emag seriously weighty - not a problem when you've got it shouldered, but lugging the thing between games I could feel my arms getting longer :) Not a problem if you're Hulk-like though.

Surprising thing for me was the noise! When you're firing fast the warp really whirrs away (running mine on a 10.8v rechargable pack) - not a problem, just came as a shock.

Only other real downside for me is that to have a neat warp setup I need to stick with my stainless body rather than my new ULE.....there's no way I can bring myself to Dremel my fade anno'd ULE rail.

Even having said all that, I'll probably be using the warp next time I play - it really is amazing how much tighter you can play without a hopper wobbling on top.

warp, althought a good plan, i do not like it at all, i just got one and played with it last weekend, and the only place i got shoot was in the warp, i could not shoot out side the left of my bunker and it made my gun CG way off it keep wanting to tilt to the side the whole time

          IMHO,

its a personal thing. we can say we love it. I can tell you I love it (and I do...I had a custom reciever made for my Rainmaker to fit my warp). However, its a personal thing. A guy on my team hates it and would never use it. It just adds weight to him.

Go try one out at a field. Thats the best way to see if you want one

            The Warp

I've had and played with my warp for about a year. I think it's great and will never go back. My only complaint is the battery wires are weak, and you're going to have to resolder them. I've no issue with the black battery door, and my batteries last about three full days. By the end of the third day, I have a new battery on me in case of severe slow down or outright dying of the battery. The weight will take some getting use to as the gun will sit differently in the cradle of your arm. Also, I've had no problems with the sensitivity from my mag. It will take some fine tuning, but once it's set, you'll be up and moving.
It took me about three to four playing days to get it working to my style of play, but it runs like a champ. My set up is a mini-mag with a level 10, warp off the right side, and a revvy with x-board. I have a 68ci tank w/drop forward dirctly under the gun, and with the warp, it is balanced right under the grips.
If you like speed ball or big outdoor games, the warp is a great addition to any paintballer. I've been able to get a lot of killer angles because my hopper isn't sticking up for all to hit and see, and I don't have to change hand position.

I love my warp:) It takes a few games to get use to it but once you do chances are you will will love it. It can make your gun fell heaver on one side but I use a DZ3 drop and off set my tank, this re-balences the gun and gives more room for my tank fill nipple and gauges.

I like it. I got the 12v drop in from PTP and now it can keep up with my eblade. For me the weight really doesn't bother as I'm used to lugging around real firearms which are heavy compared to markers.

The only negative is that now I have 5 batteries to worry about 1 from the eblade, 2 from the egg, and 2 for the wrap. Thats a crapload of batteries for a setup don't ya think?
