Just try it on a part that you won't see and if it doesn't work sand it...if it does work keep doin it

removing ano and polishing

The drano will only attcak the aluminum and mkae it pitted if the piece is in there too long. 5 minutes shouldnt harm it.

id get an omega or a benchy but those cost alot, and they dont benefit you

Red devil

I drink draino for breakfast... LOL j/k! (don't do this) But actually use the red devil stuff... it works awesome... you can watch the annodizing just fizz off. And its not really that harsh. I'd just reach right into it and grab my parts out of it, and it didn't even dry my hands out. Here's a link to a thread of my mag that I used the Red devil drain cleaner on to strip the anno:

I got the red devil at the local hardware store. You should be able to get it at any hardware store or maybe even grocery stores.
