    Shocktech Drop with E-Mag

I'm looking forward to picking up one of these drops. My current drop interferes with the removal of the battery pack. I was wondering which length you would recommend if I bought one of these, medium or long? Thanks in advance.

I have the long Shocktech on my emag, and it interferes with battery removal as well. I added a 1/8" spacer in addition to the warp adapter plate and the battery just clears now. So either go medium or use a spacer of some sort(a NW Products Q.D. would work great).

Cool deal...thanks for the tip. I'll probably just end up getting the medium.

Medium Shocktech is the way to go. I have one on my X-MAG and have no problem with battery pack removal.

does the shocktech long mount ok without making contact with the battery pack housing? and why would you need to take your battery pack out for at the field exactly ( just wondering)?

and I'm getting a ULE bodied e-mag very very soon so I guess I will be back on here more than IOG.

It does not make contact while mounted, but it will prevent removal of the battery pack for recharging purposes. It is a royal pain to have to remove the drop/bottomline just to charge the battery.

I understand that, but if the battery holds a chrage for 10 cases. How many times would you recharge a month?

                  go with the medium.

i have the long, same problem. i take the on/off knob off and then the pack juuuust barely clears the it.
