As it stands, I can't get the warp the fit on my gun. so yes I would either need to purchase the PTP adapter or find a way to ghetto rig it. It will not fit otherwise. the 90* adapter doesn't do jack.

very easy. buy yourself a spare highrise. cut the cup off that the hopper normally goes into. put the 90* adpater on. your done. you wont see any of the hacksaw( or dremel) marks on the feedport once the adpater is on. it doesn't look ghetto and it does it for about $15. Take a look at my website. go to the "spyder" link. that is how I mounted mine on a vertfeed spyder. doesn't look bad, right?

you could even usethis for $20

As for the ROF thing. it is well documented. even at 16-17 BPS, you are not going to outshoot that with a cocker. even most electro-cockers are not that fast.

Are you sure you're using the 90* adapter right? I've seen SEVERAL warped vert feed cockers and they use the 90 and no ghetto tape or anything.

daspring, they are more than likely using the proteams 90* adpater. it has a long tube on it that goes right into the vertfeed. the AGD 90* adapter is designed to go over a powerfeed (or warp body) tube.

one is male and one is female, if you want to look at it that way.

try this. get a 2 inch piece of PVC or aluminum tube. get a piece that fits snuggly in your vertfeed port. then put the AGD 90* adapter over the pipe. you will just have to cut it to the right length so you cant see it. (kind of a male-to-male adapter) shouldn't look bad, hell you shouldn't even be able to tell its there.

as I said, you will have to buy the proteams adapter. or adapt the AGD one you have. a little bit of pipe will solve your woes.

This is not an easy solution, but it would really make your marker stand out and increase it's value:

Have your cocker body machined to make the breach interchangeable! You could then have a vertical feed and warp left/right breach. I have seen Brad AGD do this and it looks awesome!

I bought the vertfeed adapter from proteam, and it was $15 shipped.
And as far as I know all vertfeed cockers that I have experience with can have their feedtube unscrewed. You might need a strap wrench, as it might be locktighted. If you don't care about the feedneck being scratched, just use a wrench. Otherwise, get a strap wrench.

Govnamac-stock base wgp bodies don't have removable feed tubes. Only STOs, BM, and other high end cockers do

Two ways to make that 90* adapter fit your cocker. One is to use some "pipe" as someone here already suggested. The other is to cut/grind off the clamp portion of the adapter until it will fit snugly inside the vertical feed. The first is better IMO as it doesn't require any permanent modifications. Good luck.
