Correct. Scepter kits do not come in Mag threads. HOWEVER, there are two alternatives.

1) go to a ULE body. They are cocker threaded.
2) Get one of Doc Nickel's adapters. It goes from Mag thread to cocker thread. And it's cheap.

Actually it will not. The current barrel/ball match is a good compromise between efficiency and consistency. Accuracy (other than consistency) is not affected by small changes in the barrel/ball match.

And what exactly does rifling do? For a paintball, not a damn thing. AGD has tested this extensively way back in the day... even with motorized rotating barrels. You can spin it every which way, and it makes no difference for accuracy. And what makes you think the rifling is even spinning the ball significantly to begin with... especially with a 2" control bore (which is inefficient and indicates to me that they don't know what they hell they are doing or don't care and planned on relying on marketing)... a gelatin rather than metal sphere, and with only the ends of the ball's equator touching the barrel walls? And, what problem is rifling trying to fix? The purpose of rifling with ball ammo is to keep the high RPMs in random directions instead go in the same direction every time so you have consistency. Go shoot two-toned paint in a clean barrel that fits and tell me how much it spins. You'll notice it hardly does at all, and sometimes with dead spin. That is IDEAL! You see, there is no problem that needs addressing.

You can use a plastic perfect sphere, and it makes no difference. A sphere is a blunt faced object that exhibits poor aerodynamic qualities. All paintballs zigzag in the air, as shown by high speed video. No magic tube or creative marketing can change this.

You see, this is a misapplication of firearms principles that does not apply to paintball.

THE PROBLEM IS THE PAINTBALL, NOT THE GUN... NOT THE BARREL!!!

And your Hammerhead people are snake-oil salesmen who prey on the ignorance of kiddies.

And BTW: No barrel can improve how straight the ball goes out the barrel, or how the ball travels after it has left it. (Backspin systems are the exception, but do not improve accuracy... and make it worse if anything.) Consistency is the only thing that improves accuracy. Correct barrel/ball match improves consistency, which translates to some improvement in accuracy.

And, despite what you think... it is indeed just a tube.

If you really want to see what causes paintball to move around in flight, read this. It is a long post, but I started you at the page that first talks about vortex shedding.

I tink Tom said it best when one guy asked whether any barrel was better than another and was more accurate "if there was one, everyone would have it". If Brand Z was the best barrel, everyone knew it, we would ALL own a Brand Z barrel. Hence, since there are 20 barrle companies, there is no "best barrel"
