    Parts Kit Installation Guide?

    Hey,

I found a mag for super cheap but it needs a few new o-rings. Does anyone have an o-ring replacement guide or Parts Kit Installation Guide or something?

    Plz post a link.

    Thanks ALOT.

      Thanks guy.

I've already seen the classic valve pic (I actually have it saved).

What I was hoping for was text that gives me the Do's and Don'ts of replacing the o-rings throught the marker. I am uncertain of what exactly it entails and I don't want to mess anything up like the regulator, or oil something that should remain clean.

      Thanks again though.

It entails taking one off and replacing it the way you found it.

As for oil- oil runs over ALL the orings. So don't worry about oiling something that shouldn't.

The only thing you can't really work on is the reg piston. So just don't pull the pin out of the body. (This is NOT the on/off pin. That's different.)

Honestly- a Mag is REALLY easy to work on. You just replace the orings one at a time and put a little oil on each one b/c they will be a bit tighter than the ones you are taking out.

And no. There is no guide for doing orings. It's a swap/replace thing.

Which pin are you talking about?
That one with the kind of cone shaped spring in the back (#30)?
How do I prevent it from coming out?

I wish there were lines designating where everything fit.

              It seems straight forward, but does 30 go through 26, 27, 28, 29, 31 and 32?

              What is holding 30 in?

"The only thing you can't really work on is the reg piston. So just don't pull the pin out of the body."

Are you saying I can't take the reg piston o-ring off?

              Sorry for misunderstanding.

The reg pin just stays where it is.

And the Classic Valve exploded diagram actually HAS lines that say where they go.

It only has arrows pointing at which number the pieces are.

                      Nope.

pdf's and pentium 100's dont mix very well.

                      I'll try though.

It worked, its just reeeeeaaally slow.

I'll ask this one question again though:

"The only thing you can't really work on is the reg piston. So just don't pull the pin out of the body."

You mean the reg seat? Yes. You can change that out. The pin itself, leave alone.

Hey Dayspring, you have one of those diagrams for the classic RT?
