classic mag : sear premature wear with an hyprerframe

i want to know if anyone here have experienced premature wear of the sear with a classic mag equipped with hyperframe ??? i played a game 2 weeks ago and fired bout 1500 balls and no problems at all ...... last weekend i went to play and as soon as i fired the first few rounds ..... my bolt started to misfire and the bolt never hooked up back ..... when i disasembled the mag to check it out ..... i found my sear totally destroyed at the point it retains the bolt ....... and lots of metal particles in the cavity of the switch on the hyperframe .....
my question is : the hyperframe damages the sear faster than stock grip frame or it is the normal life of a mag sear ??
in total i have fired about 20000 to 25000 rounds with it including dry fire .....

that's why the after market electronic frames void your warranty.

[looks around] wow, it sounds like theres an echo in here. Send it to centerflag and they can set it up for you, but with these frames you will always be risking your sear and bolt.
Sadly the mag is gone, moved on to an LCD Trix

It's more likely that the lip of the bolt has been eaten away. It's because the on/off pin is too short. You need to get a longer pin from centerflag. I know, I have one.

I had that problem too. I put it in my ReTro mag and used the stock on-off not the C.F. and have never had any problems. Also who cares if it voids the warranty. That's why u bought a mag, to work on it yourself. Betcha those pansies don't even know how to change their own friggen oil.

Also on a stock valve if you keep an eye on your sear and catch it when it first chips you wont have to shell out for a new bolt.

sigh I can't STAND the jerks who are seem to be part of the problem instead of the solution.

Anyway pbzmag was right, about you needing a longer on/off. Well that is most likely the case. Call centerflag and they will be able to help you. They helped a guy that did an official review on it.

what you people don't seem to understand is the reason it voids the warranty is because you need to change the geometry of the sear action to make the hyper frame work properly. aka it's flawed in design. the celliniod is not designed with the proper throw range. so even if you change the on/off pin you still haven't fixed the problem properly. been in the business for 8years fixed countless mags amoungst other markers and every year i hear the same crap from different mo mos that think they've got it all figured out. it never ends.

The primary problem with the Hyperframe is the 6ms solenoid dwell.

The second problem is that it's run off of a 9V And with Level 7 and a stock AIR valve on/off you're really working the solenoid hard. It should work okay with an X-Valve with Level 10 and a ULT, but I still don't like that 6ms solenoid dwell...

Lets see, have had the same sear, bolt and stock ReTro on-off in since Chicago last summer. Now Hostage sure seems that that I have got something right.
