Limiting BPS on board? (Shooting classic on emag)

My E-mag valve is out of commision for now.. got a tourney coming up and will be using a classic valve on it (that does work right?)

.. Yea.. so don't want to overshoot it .. should I bother capping something on the board? And how do I do that?

    Thanks.

The stock emag board is capped at 16. The classic valve tops out around 16. You should be ok.

The only thing giving me thoughts is that your on/off pin may or may not be the correct length in regards to the rest of the gun.

The software does allow you to lower your sps. You could be nice and safe and cap it at 10-12 bps.

I've run a classic valve on a hyperframe at 20bps fullauto. I'd say put it on there, air it up and load up with paint. Rip on the trigger and see if YOU think it keeps up. Adjust the max bps accordingly.

i ran a classic for plenty long enough, and there is no need to cap it. just put in the e-mag on off assembly, and the .712 on/off pin, and you will be good to go.

            Well ****!

The reason I'm using a Classic Valve is because I don't have my E-mag On/off!

Will the classic one work I hope so.

UP! Should I bother getting one really fast or will the classic on/off work?

yea you need an emag on/off assembly, or you need to modify your classic on/off assembly. This is why when you do a valve exchange with an emag valve you have to keep your on/off valve.

The classic on/off might work. The classic valve on/off requires a lot more force to move. The emag solenoid has a lot of extra power, so it might work. Give it a try. The classic on/offs don't have as big a problem with timing so you should be okay there. Also, I believe your reactivity will INCREASE. Be careful there.

Well, If you started with a classic mag or something of the such, just go back, and remake your gun !...Then again I have no idea what I'm talking about.

nope nope and nope, I you would need atleast a new on/off pin and I think some other mods (theres a thread on AO about it somewhere, do a search) and without the right pin it just plain won't work. I would recommend searching for a gun you can borrow for the tourney.

Maybe someone else on your team has a spare gun, or old gun parts you could use to make something new or use something else? Other than that, you need a new pin and the such.

It could work if you are extremely lucky. But chances are, if the on/off switch is messed up, no matter what you change, it will PROBABLY be messed up. Then again, this is coming from an E-Mag newb, as I have reverted back to my 68 Minimag because it just rocks...Of course, I have like 3 hours of maint. ahead of me once I get home...But oh well.
