it's not luck, it just won't work guys. Do a search about it because there is some thread somewhere that I read about it. Or you can simply read the details of the valve exchange
program at airgun.com because it clearly says that emag valves need to keep their original on/off assebly to put on the xvalve because a mechanical on/off won't work. do a search!

The reason you keep you eMag on/off is because of the quad oring. The quad oring requires a shorter on/off pin. However, an eMag does not require a quad oring. It will work with a standard oring (and longer on/off pin). That said, I don't know if the eMag solenoid has enough force to operate the classic on/off.

I think I'll just use a team-mates viking.. I'm sure one of them has an extra one laying around lol.

Or I could waste money on an on/off and get it in time.. but a ref said he might have had an extra one.. so I gotta check that out.

All I can say is try it. If it shoots then you are good to go. I think it should work.

The solenoid should have enough power as well due to the fact that it is a robust design.

Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

its not the power needed, it's the length of the on/off pin! arg would you just search for a thread or something, if anyone has seen the thread lately and can get a link post it please.

Well, as it turns out, it is the power that is needed.

I put my standard AIR valve on my emag. It fired fine in manual mode. With the battery on and turned to electronic mode, nothing. You could hear the click of the solenoid trying to pull the plunger, but the force was too strong.

When I put a retro (not emag) on/off assembly in the AIR valve the emag fired just fine in electronic mode.

So, there we have it folks.

So basically I got a regular classic mag with a batery now? Oh well, I want to try out the ULE body, I guess I'll go with that.
