Which threads? The threads for the drop forward screws or the reg. valve body?
The screws for the drop are 10-32. Same as the front grip frame screw. -
im looking for the thread size where the reg threads into tank, i want to put a flatline on a 45cu tank, but there are different threads on different tanks.Tom was the last of a now extinct breed, a breed of players who build a community, a breed of owners who gave to the sport never taking more than what they deserved. All bottles & Regs have the industry standard, 5/8"-18 thread.
I recently switched bottles with my 88 Conquest and 68 Flatline. Now I have an 88/3000 Flatline on my E-Mak and my kid has a 68/3000 Conquest on his 'Cocker.

Both the Flatline and Conquest regs simply and easily unscrewed once there was no air left in the tank. Some preset systems have the reg loc-tited into the bottle, thus requiring heat to loosen the threads. Too much heat is very bad for the tank. Good Luck.
