    Warp Feed Doesnt Stop Spining

Ok I was linking my warp feed to my trix and it was working fine, the boards cover was taken off obviously to access the jumpers.

All of a sudden the warpfeed began to spin and I haven't found a way to stop it. I've tried the easy culprits like switching jumpers and adjusting the pot but nothing seems to make this beast stop whats going on? I also have the 12vt mod but the batteries aren't fresh it was working fine seconds before, also there isn't a 12v reg but the previous owner had no problems and it was working fine with me, not sure what in the world is wrong.

I've been able to figure out the wiring is perfectly fine so the problem must lie in the board, all the fuses look fine and what not I'm not sure whats going on here.

okay, thats it. just turn the blue knob down...then go back up to when it starts spinning again and back it off until it stops, thats the max sensitivity you can have without running down the battery continuously

If you have the 12 volt mod without the regulator, then the warp board is getting 18 volts. Try using only one battery.

                12V mod without a 12V reg = 18V

You're lucky the board hasn't fried yet. Put in a 7812 regulator and it should work fine.

The wires are running paralell only 9v people, Havoc already decided on whats wrong and its in his hands, thanks for your suggestions anyway though.

this is a old thread, but i'm desperate

i have the exact same problem. it has nothing to do with the pot switch either. how did you, or havoc solve it?

                    thankz

I'm not sure what havoc did but it was fairly technical. Now it only spins if connected to a intelli-link, vibe sensor is shot. Havoc said it was because of the older shell design, I'm not sure whats going on but its fairly useless to me now and its been sitting in a corner.

yea, my sensor is busted also.
i have the a ptp warp and 1 day i accidently bent the mount bracket and messed up the sensor.

i just need to know if i need a new board

how long has it been since the orgonial owner and you used it because there could be a slight chance you would have to break it in again after a long peroid of time of ti not being used

Don't know, vibe sensor worked fine before I sent it to Havoc, came back from him yea it stopped continuous spinning but now it needs an intellilink I dont have

are you willing to sell the board?
                              i run mine intellifed.

i've had this warp for around a year now.
