Check your trigger return spring, if the spring's too short, too light or kinks, the trigger won't return.
Also check the 3-way and timing rod. If the rod or 3-way piston is bent, or if the 3way o-rings are bad, it'll cause more friction than the trigger return spring can overcome.
I don't think it's your timing, if it were the timing, you couldn't flick the trigger forward, the 3-way would hold the block back until you degas it.
