Um.... <grins sheepishly> what is a filter and what do you get one? I guess I shouln't have called that kid new. What exactly do they do? Would one of those along with an anti syphon tank work about as well as an X-Chamber? I will be playing in cold weather. I don't want to get an Xchamber either cause I already have a reg, and im planning on going HPA as soon as its available (i live in a rural area). I have a remote but I prefer my tank to be on gun. Thanks.

scuba shop fills compressed air ... a nitro tank could hold nitrogen or compressed air .... but remember in order to get fills from a scuba shop u would be filling a scuba tank that u have to buy and u would have to buy the fill system (i think its $50) in order to get the air from the scuba tank to the nitro tank. Heres a couple websites that u can get the scuba fill system from or find out more about it: https://www.paintballgames.com/

I know a scuba shop could do it, but like I said, i am in a rural area. We are 60 miles from the nearest scuba shop. Utah isn't the best place to live when you play paintball. It has been immpossible to get a tourney team together cause there are no tourneys. Oh, one question. What size tank would I need to get about 1000 shoots off of a minimag?

To get shots per tank with 3000 psi on a mag you multiply the ci by 10... Bassically you'd need something bigger than an 88ci...

.

Foo Temps:

A) that formula isn't true, you get around 800 shots from 68 cui at 3000 PSI.
B) I got an Angel A.I.R. which is 4500 PSI

I thought all an inline filter did was to keep dirt and stuff out of the gun, I had no idea it had anything to do with CO2(or does it?). BTW, some scuba shops will fill 3000 psi tanks if you ask nicely and don't tell them what you're going to use it for!

Here is my 2 cents...hopefully it will put you at ease since you seem very concerned about co2 and your minimag.

I've got a classic mag with and expansion chamber, drop forward, angled bottom line adapter and a coiled remote.

I used to be very concerned about co2 so I would run with the remote...never ever had any problems. Then I bought a nitro tank and ran "on-gun" and everything worked.

However, when I would go somewhere that didn't fill n2, i was so used to running on-gun that i didn't want to run my remote.

So I ran my NON ANTISIPHON co2 tank screwed right into my bottom line adapter....I had NO PROBLEMS at all doing this.

All I had was an angled bottom line adapter on a drop and an expansion chamber.

What we all need to remember is that Mags were built on co2...we don't need to fear it....only embrace it and understand it.

DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THAT GARBAGE!

They only thing you need is a palmer in-line stabilizer. It will prevent 99.9% of liquid Co2 from entering your system. We had one at our field, that got passed around for fun. I've seen people play with it in 40 degree weather on Co2 and not have any liquid problems. I'm telling you, you will waste your money on an expansion chamber and/or anti-siphon.
sixty-six.

Du bist, was du machst. Punkt.
