    Trigger pull

I got my Classic Mag a couple of weeks ago and finally shot it on Wednesday. It was a pleasant experience, as I'd expected it to be. My uncle sold it to me, so I've used it before. One thing that I didn't remember was the trigger pull being so heavy. It's not unbearably heavy, but I can feel it in my finger after shooting some long bursts.
My questions are: 1) What can I do to lighten the trigger pull, and, 2) How well does the ULE Trigger Pull Kit work with a Classic Valve?

You can't really do too much for the weight. An intelliframe would help out a bit. Some people can get ULTs to work in classics, others can't. There's a chance that it'll work.

No thanks on the I-Frame. I like my stock frame just fine.
If I were to try the ULE Trigger Pull Kit, what problems could I expect to encounter, if any at all? If anyone's tried this before, I'd like to hear your input, please.

      Thanks any way, spyder.

Ive tried it before. I got it to work, but I could only fire at about 3bps. For some reason it just would not go any faster, without it I get about 7-8. You also need to turn the velocity waaaaayyyy up to make it work, so it is really not worth the benifits for all the losses.

          Okay...

Scratch that idea. The pull is not horrible, so I suppose I'll just live with it. I'm just used to the trigger pull on my Autococker, which is buttery smooth and light. :) I can still get a good rhythm going on the 'Mag (4-5 bps), so all is not lost.

The ult may work on a clasic valve, but the problem is usualy that it doesnt have the return force necesary to reste the sear after a shot, causing the trigger to stick back. A lot of shims and a lot of oil helps sometimes. You can also try an rt on/off asembly like mentioned in the folowing thread.

            Hope this helps!

I along with the rest of my teammates have gotten the ULE trigger pull to work on our classic valves. I have about 5 shims in mine and it works just fine. I havent had any problems with it at all. I think my teammate actually made a thread about the ULE trigger pull in the classic valve and I'll try to find that for you. Just pm me if you have any questions about it.

This is the forum for trouble shooting your Airgun Designs products, including the Automag, RT, E-Mag, and WarpFeed. Also a great place to ask technical questions about non AGD products. An Airsmith's homeroom!

A double trigger (as much as you don't want to admit it) will help lighten the trigger pull b/c you are using more leverage. So to lighten it somewhat, get a double trigger frame.

                    On/Off

If he hasnt used the marker very long....a good way to make the trigger pull lighter is to break in the On/Off in the gun (like a pair of shoes).....Just play a while and it will get lighter. I would suggest the Intelliframe as your next upgrade.
