Also do i "need" a drop forward if i get nitrogen?

no you don't "need" a drop forward, most preset tanks are screw in, which works just like a co2 tank. i think the only preset tanks that arent screw in are air america's but don't worry about that, those are more money than you need to spend

Here's the way i upgraded, I started with a classic 68 automag with a dye boomstick, since i already had a nice barrel i didn't worry too much about that

i actually got the AIR right around the same time i got the gun, and the Intelliframe wasen't used until after i got the L10. Sucks when I don't make much money to go out every weekend. or should i say didn't

As Dan said, you dont need to get a drop to run a Compressed Air system but it will help with the balance of your gun if you get a steel tank. I was looking at AV and found some tanks for around $80, think they were PE.
