AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Based on what I have "heard" from other players the Dynaflow is the way to go. With that being said you should also know that I intend to get one of these for my x-valved ule mag. I have never heard anything bad if that is a comfort. And there is a thread in the dealer's forum for Dynaflow's right now...$225 plus shipping...which happens to be a very good price for a brand new adjustable tank! No, I don't know the seller but that is where I will probably buy mine from.
Oh and welcome to AO and the AGD family, you won't be disappointed!
On your straight braided or coil question. I personally play only in the woods, I find the coil remotes are much less likely to snag as they ride firmly against the body and up under the armpit area. They also have more play in them so if you do snag something you can feel that rubber band pulling on you. With a steal remote you usually don't feel it until WAP! your gun goes flying out of your hand or you land on your butt.
Thanks for the reply and the WELCOME, Guysdaman! The Dynaflow continues to be well spoken of. I'm still undecided as to whether I'm going to want the 68/4500 or the 88/4500 on the marker if I'm going to be carrying it. I've already got a 114/4500 tank to hang on my back for when I go remote.
Crighton - thanks for sharing your experiences on the remote. Are there any variations to the way the TAC-ONE will operate from direct tank, coiled hose or steel hose?... or is it all the same?
Thanks again, folks. I appreciate you sharing your own experiences and preferences!!

No difference as far as I've every seen. The remote acts just like a couple extra feet of macro line basically. The advantage is in the weight shift and the gas through stock if you choose to use one.
Just make sure you spend the extra bucks on a quality slide check. I have a tendancy to wear my harness and tank almost all day. Nice not having to reach around and turn off the tank every time I want to put the marker down.
