    Full auto mag, need help!

I just installed a e-mag valve and level 10 bolt in my mag, and its now full auto. the valve was fine with normal reactivity, but the level 10(i'm assuming) was leaking down the barrel. now the gun is not leaking, but it goes fully auto every time i pull the trigger. does anyone know how to fix this? i am really new to mags, so please be specific is possible. there is a great mag airsmith by my house, but hes on vacation for another 2 weeks and i want to play.

Tighten up the field strip screw and see if that helps.
I know it sounds silly, but just do it. Use an allen wrench to tighten that baby down nice and good.
If that doesnt do the trick, I'm willing to bet that your on/off pin is too short and you need to buy a new one here

You can't use the on/off pin from an Emag valve in a Non-Emag.......Mag.

You need to order the correct pin for a standard mag....most likely a .750

You can use the ule trigger pull kit, but assuming that your old valve was a classic valve, no.
If the valve worked before, then you should defintaly try tightening the field strip screw.

Maybe check and make sure all the o-rings and in the on/off if you are missing one, like at the top, it would be something to check.

You can use the ULT trigger kit in the emag valve, only if it is one of the newer ones that uses two o-rings above the on/off top. If there is a recessed hole for only one o-ring then you can only use the standard retromag on/off with a .750" pin length.

The emag pin length is .712"
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

i am confused by the two o-ring thing. where exactly should there be two o-rings? where i screw the valve apart? where i pull the thing out of the side? somewhere else. please be as specific as possible. thanks.

If the gun is shooting full auto without an electric frame, that is a sign that it is malfunctioning and leads to increased wear on the sear and bolt, which arent cheap to replace.

There should be two orings under the on/off.
The on/off is the brass part on the bottom of the valve.. it comes right out.

ok, there is one o-ring on the pin when i pull the whole thing out, and no o-ring at the bottom. is this the only possibility for something wrong cause i had normal reactivity at one point but air leaked down the barrel. thanks for everyones help so far.

Check down in the hole that the on/off came out of. If there is a recessed area at the bottom that holds the small o-ring which was on your on/off pin, then you have an older single o-ring emag valve that will not accept the ULT assembly. If there is no recessed area, then there should be a larger o-ring that goes around the smaller one and holds it in place around the pin.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

yeah, its a single o-ring emag valve. a couple of people mention tightening the field strip screw, and i had tried that except i just found out i can tighten it more with an allen wrench. i hope that that was all it needed, but i have no air to try it out...
