Are you sure you removed the on/off assembly lubed the whole thing until it drips then put a few drops in there and put it back in and then lubed the whole powertube? Do that and keep using the smallest spring. Just keep firing it and re lubing it.

Yes, I have soaked the on/off. I sent an e-mail to tunaman and agd, informing them of my problem. Maybe I just happened to get a bad one, it happens. BTW billabongboy13j, how long did it take to get your valve back?

I doubt that guy is a certified AGD gun tech. Have you tried going down to the weakest bolt spring by anychance?

Yes, I have....tried all three bolt springs. The guy told me he went out of state to become cert in may markers. BTW, the store owner stated he was a cert tech, like it really makes a difference. Thing is, none off the stores have had this much difficulty making a X-valve work. Two of the workers in one store have mags with x-valves.

Here is what I have tried. 1 shim, will shoot once - 2 shims, will shoot twice - 3 shims, will shoot twice an almost recock - 4 shims, same as 3 - 5, leaks down barrel. Carrier does not leak, little bit snug. I have used each spring with each shim set-up. The on/off is lubed well, also used 6+ 71 cu tanks trying to make it work. When I load a ball, it cronos at about 285.

make sure the thumb screw isn't to tight or to loose...i've seen that make a difference as well

update. I went to the store where it was purchased from, they replaced the valve with a new one. It works now, thank you everyone for your help.
