    Original RT Breaking balls

    I have a plain RT ( Not the RT PRO ) I have a centerflag Dynaflow 68/
4500 . I just installed a intelliframe with blade trigger . Now I thought Im ready to rock ! I loaded my revy up , started to fire and paint goes everywhere . Breaking balls like crazy . It didnt do his before the new trigger assembly . What could I have done wrong ? It fires like crazy ( WAAAAY Fast ) Will the level 10 cure this problem ?

lvl 10 cures the chops for sure, did you check to see that the balls were feeding properly?

Is it "Rapid-Firing?" I mean are you pulling the trigger and it's taking off without you trying? You might need to drop the input pressure of your Dynaflow tank. Interestingly you have about the best setup for rapid-firing your RT and, hehe that revy is not going to keep up.

You can read my "How To Rapid-Fire" Page that explains how to rapid-fire and how it is adjusted. From this you should also be able to see how to eliminate or reduce it. Hope this helps.

No its not rapid firing - but this gun sure fires fast - I cant imaging it shooting any faster - Im looking into the Q-loader- and the level 10 . This gun is certainly gonna be a blast ! WOW With the new trigger I can really let the balls fly - i think my pressure was at 750psi. So many things to buy - Z-man can you give me any hints on what I might want to do - Ive seen your videos and I am a huge fan !!! I want my gun to shoot like yours - I know that probably will not be possible becouse it takes experience to walk the trigger like you .

Well The biggest suggestion I can offer is for you to pick yourself up a Halo B or Q-Loader. The biggest question you have to ask yourself in deciding between the 2 is how much paint do you think you shoot (will shoot) each game. If you shoot under 500 rounds the Q-Loader is something to consider.

However, if you shoot more than that, you can end up spending more time reloading than shooting. I stuck with my Halo for that reason.

Now in all honesty (unless you rapid-fire) you are not going to out shoot the Halo or the QLoader. This is why many people suggest that you get an eggII or apache because its cheaper and what not but I disagree and here is why.

The nice thing about a force-feed hopper is that even if you don't shoot faster than 13 bps you still benefit from it. The Halo keeps 8 balls or so loaded and ready to fire from any angle or position. I first noticed it when I switched back to my Halo TSA. While the TSA kept up with me fine I remember jumping over some hyperball pipe and having all the balls in the hopper float to the top of the hopper for a bit (causing me to shoot blanks for a bit). Now it may only happen to you once is a few games but I really do like the security of the force-feed balls. it just cuts down on the chopping (or with the lvl 10; pinching) and allows me to keep up a string of paint that much longer.

Beyond that its all written up on that page. High input pressure + fast hopper + lvl10= fun times.

If you can, I would suggest that you borrow a Halo B for a game or 2 if you have a friend or know someone who would let you. It's very easy for me to sit here and say "yeah go drop $130 because I know" and we do have our expenses. Either way I still do suggest you look into getting one and would be interested to hear if you think (once you have one) my advice was good for your situation.

if i were you, i'd check the trigger rod first, and make sure it's set to the right length. if it's not, it could be what's causing your issues.

I guess my only question to the trigger length is why would it change just by inserting a intelli . I didnt change the anything internal. It shot fast before i installed the new blade trigger . but I couldnt pull it as fast as I can now . maybe my hopper (revi) had something to do with it . this gun shoots fast -I used midnight paint $60 bucks for 2000 so it wasnt too cheap of paint . I dont trust myself even with the instructions to install the level 10 so i will probably see if i can find someone to do it for me ( a shop ) . I will get a halo b and level 10 and see whats up then i guess .

I look forward to hearing from you. Once I got the adjustable tank, the lvl 10 and my Halo B, I started going through paint at a rate of 4-5 cases a day. Yes it's a problem. I've got a scenario game I am looking at and its 2 days long and $75 a case FPO.... thats like $5-600 in paint if I play like that
