It was Smart Parts' attempt at making the mag Low Pressure. It turned out that it was nothing more than a glorified expansion chamber.
The All Americans used these guns a long time ago. At the same time, Smart Parts said that you'd shoot farther with LP. (The reason for this is that the AA's would fill the Magic Box with CO2 and it would result in a hot shot. Faster velocity= longer range.)Comment

Thanks hogg. That's exactly what I'm looking for. One more point towards purchasing the mag.Originally posted by jdhoggheres 2 different automag triggers, i have the black one and its nice
That's something I'm considering, but it's not something I can afford to just spring for.Originally posted by emagboy2000if u get the lvl 10 u def will need to switch to hpaComment

Lvl10 doesn't require HPA. On a classic, lvl10 will do just fine on co2.Comment

yeah I'll vouch for that. Co2 and a LvL10 on a Classic valve will work fine if you do a few things. If you are running a remote then that's a great place to start. Then get a nice reg like a Palmer Stabalizer and you'd be good to go. If you want to run the tank on the gun then you'll need to get an anti-shiphon tube which is like $4 on ebay now-a-days. Honestly bro mags are a great way to go. I talked my neighbor friend into ditching his e-spyder and going with a mag. He spent a little more then he did on his spyder, but now his mag is really nice and reliable. Add a point towards getting a mag if reliablilty is something you are looking for in a paintball gun.Comment

decided it was time to conduct an objective test today (day off; no work, no class).
Fired my Spyder and the "Mag back to back. Same paint, same bottle of CO2 (with anti-siphon tube), no remote. We even have the same Teardrop barrel.
Damn I'm impressed with the 'Mag's consistency. SOOOO much better than the Spyder. All this without the benefit of the regulator I have on the Spyder.
I'll play a game this weekend and make my decision then.
Thanks for all the input guys.Comment

Try e-bay you should pick up a good mag for less than $200. The mag is one of the best paintball guns ever built, i own an angel, and have used it for several years, never raely got on with it, cant hit a barn door with it. Picked up a mag for$102 dollars on ebay, went out and played with it for a laugh with all these guys with electro guns, shot the s*** out of them. it was great to use a realy accurate gun again.they hated being blown away by an old mag when they had$1000 worth of gunComment
