    no engageing on classic valve!

Ok i have a classic setup on co2 with aci expansion chamber. That being said and done, plugging gas into the gun has no effect. The sear doesnt push down and engage the trigger. I can hear it gassing up, but to no avail. My powertube has a funny spring for a spacer. Do you guys have any suggestions? (Airline is clear, i just tested it by running water thru it)

    Turn up your velocity.

    Is your tank full?

Try jiggling the bolt with a stick squeegee or pencil or something, it could be jammed in there funny. Make sure the on/off is moving smoothly and all, and maybe lube it up some. I assume this is a new setup, so it might just need working a little. Lube it up and make sure everything is moving freely and all. Oh and make sure your sear pin is in. Yes I have done that before, yes it is stupid.

what the crap? i guess my problem isnt solved. The sear engages now, but when i pull the trigger it pushes the trigger rod in but doesnt fire. I dont think trigger rod length is a problem because i have actually lengthened it by a fraction of an 8th of an inch. What the crap is going on? The gun recently took a dive in a puddle. Could it be feeding water from the xchamber into the gun? Would that cause this problem?

Take the valve apart and give it a good cleaning first, especially if it took a bath in a puddle.

The bolt could be sticking if the powertube spring is too short due to compression over time. Replace the powertube spring or get a powertube spacer kit, or better yet, get a level 10 kit for your gun.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

that sounds like bolt stick to me. do as athomas suggested. take it all apart, clean and lube the powertube area and the on-off area. as he said, it the powertube spring is wornout, it can cause problems. also, using co2 on it. the powertube o-ring might jsut be permanenty swollen. the extra friction could cause what you are seeing.
