    Stuck and Broken Screw

    Not cool..

Heres whats up, i just got my lasoya timmy in the mail today. I take the clammy faceplat off to make sure everything is clean and nothing is broken, well, the back screw seems to be broken. Like the head(hex key part) isnt there anymore, but the long part that actually threads into the gun itself is still stuck. How can i get the bia out?

the best way to get a sscrew or damged screw is to take a allen and put a tiny bit of loctite on it , then put the allen on the screw and let it dry , the next day turn the allen , take out the screw and take a touch or hot watter (depends on type of loctite , and get the allen/ screw free

That wont work for me, the screw head is missing. Its just the threads of the screw thats left. Like the screw threads are stuck inside the hole, and there is nothing to put a allen key in. Its not a stripped screw, its a broken screw. Ill get pictures in a second...

            Heres the pic:

As you can see, there is no spot for an allen wrench

I am thinkin the other option would be to drill a very small hole on the center of the broken off screw and the put a nail with loctite on it ,

I cant think of any other ways to get it out besides usein sumthin to bond to the screw the twist

what size it the screw, find a tap/drill set small enoght to drill a hole inside the screw, then tap the hole enough to get the screw to grasp the threads tightly. Locktight a screw for the size threads you just tapped. screw it in and let the locktight set. then unscrew the screw and the broken one should come out. Other then that your other option would be to drill the screw out and retap it to a larger size. Hope this helps.

                            Magnetism: A Homemade Electromagnet

                            Equipment
                            iron nail
a long wire, enough to completely wrap the nail with
                            a battery and battery clip
a resistor (See Notes and Safety below)
several small paper clips, magnets, a compass or whatever magnetic materials you have on-hand

                            Description
The wire is wrapped around the nail as many times as possible. Then one end of the wire is attached to one lead of the battery clip while the other end of the wire is attached to the resistor which is then attached to the other end of the battery clip. Once the battery is put in the clip, the nail will act as a magnet, with one end a north pole and the other a south pole.

Any wire emits a magnetic field, even long straight wires or a coil of wire without the nail. You should find that the magnet is strongest with the nail in place. The reason is that, in the presence of the magnetic field of the wire, the iron magnetizes.

                            Notes and Safety
You could try this experiment without the resistor. If you do this, beware! The wire will tend to get quite hot and could potentially burn.

                            Just hold onto the screwdriver
