    A.n.s mag bolt question ?

    Does anyone know wether or not this bolt is a 2 piece.I showed my buddy who is into machining and he was amazed and couldnt figure out how they machined the bolt.Does anyone know?

    I did see an aftermarket bolt for a mag, it looked the same as a normal bolt, but had a delrin plug pressure fitted into the face of the bolt.... (possibly a good way for you to go with the testing)

    but as far as I am aware the ANS bolts are all single piece (my ANS venturi is anyway...)

        I have one of them, too, and I'd say it looks like the body and venturi parts are one piece. The plunger might be a second piece, but I'd have to pull the foamie off to tell. I'd guess that they made the venturi's by placing the bolt in a vertical-axis indexer on a mill.

          I think its one peice as well,the strange thing is mine dosent have a foamie and I never break paint.

            looking at the stock bolt it looks to me like maybe the piston is threaded or pressed in it could have been milled as one piece but I would think it would be easier to press it in. just a guess though.
