When out to play with my x-mag and about 3/4 of the way through the hooper it seems like it gets "tired", not sure how else to explain it. It's works perfect for the first 3/4 then seems to really slow down and not shoot as fast as I am pulling the trigger. Any ideas on what this could be. I was in E mode and the battery was charged. Any ideas what this could be?

How old is he? Does he have trouble breathing?
Your valve might not be recharging.Comment

Not sure how old it is, but the tank was at 2000 psi, I was using a halo b with new batteries. It work pretty good in Manual mode. The only thing I am not sure about is what the output pressure is on the tank. How can I check that? Is it somwhere on the reg?
Not sure how I turn the ACE off, do you mean switch it to M mode?
oops forgot to add that I am running 2.4 software.XT00308

to turn ace off scroll through the screen using the top button once you get to ace hit the bottem button until you see 0 that is off 1 is on and 2 is on with a delay for multi colored paint!! hmm i dont think you are having recharge issues because that would be apparent no matter how much paint is in the hopper!!VV04962 yeah thats my Pewter CnC X-mag

Yeah, it's really strange. It kind of like driving older car and flooring the gas and nothing happens.
I feed it oil before and after each day of use and clean it up pretty good.
Now I see how to do it. I forget that's there. I am so used to my RT Classic.XT00308

Do you know if you have a High Pressure Tank? If you do, they usually put out either 800-850psi. If you have an adjustable tank, well, that can range to whatever you set that to. On most if not all adjustable tanks, they come with 2 gauges, one with the pressure remaining in the tank, and the output pressure from the tank. You're not using co2 are you? What kind of tank/regulator do you have? If it's a Crossfire, is the regulator band red or blue? Blue being LP and red for HP for the Crossfire tanks.
When it gets 3/4 of the way thru, is there drop off with your shots?
Are you getting drop off when you stream the paint or is it dropping off as you 'one ball'?
When you say getting tired, what is geting tired, the hopper or the xmag? Can you dry fire it and get the same results?
I think clarification of 'tired' would help :)

I don't know if I have one or not, but it's a bulldog tank and not sure what kind of reg is on it. The reg only has the one gauge that shows the pressure remaining in the tank. No, I am not using co2.
If I understand what dropoff means, then I would have to say yes. I am getting the dropoff when I am streaming, then it just doesn't want to do it anymore.
Tired (the best way to explain it) trying to fire as fast as I can, then it just wants to only do a few shots a second, like 2 shots per second. I don't have a really fast trigger finger or fingers yet.
The xmag seems like it's getting tired, not the hopper.XT00308

Hey, Emagballa (MonsterMag), your sig is 4 times to big. You're not real good at the Internet, are you?

If you refill the hopper does this go away?
If you stop shooting for a second or two does it go away?
Are you using a high pressure tank?
Is the tank not screwed in all the way? Screwed in to much?
It sounds like either your Halo is not feeding correctly once it's 3/4 empty or (more likely) you're getting a restriction somewhere and you are staving your reg causing shoot down."Relax. Don't worry. Have a Home Brew."

It is possible that either the valve or the bottle regulator is starving for air. This could be due to dirt. Try cleaning the valve first. If it still does it, try a different bottle.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

Could be the tank output pressure. My brother has an 68/4500 ACI Bulldog tank and it only has650-700 out pressure, so when you start to rapid fire your pressure drops off and so your valve gets starved. Try a PMI Pure energy tank if you can, they put out about 800 psi.Comment
