Like I said, that's what it sounds like to me. I've seen several different tanks that were called HP and claimed to output ~800 but they were really in the high 600's - low 700's. Not enough for a Mag valve.

I blame the tank as well, for the time being I'm running a Bulldog II and it just doesn't seem to have the flow/recharge to keep up with a fast emag (maybe due to output pressure, which has been great for everything up to my X-valve).

See if you can use someones high pressure tank. Sure sounds like your tank isn't keeping up, but I hate to be wrong and have you buy something you don't need.

We tried this other tank we have and we know it has a very high pressure output, well, so high that the hose popped, man was it loud, scared the kids and the baby. Obviously something is wrong with the reg on that tank. How/where can I get my tanks tested to see how much pressure they put out?

local pro shop would be your quickest way. Also, ask if you can borrow one of their HP tanks to dry fire to see if you have the 'tired' effect.

I had a similar issue a few weeks ago. After scratching my head and walking myself through it... I gave the on/off and all of the on/off orings a good oiling. Problem went away instantly.

Also, put the gun in trigger test and make sure your magnet is not set too close to the hes. The gun should fire at the end of the trigger pull.
