I noticed that the sear I was selling wobbled an awful lot where it and the brass thing that the rod screwed into met. The ends were sticking out, not securing the sear very well. That allowed it to wobble left and right. LMK if you know what I'm talking about or not.
I tried taking a crescent wrench and tightening it on the end for a couple of days. I just let it sit in hopes that it would stay where it should. I just tightened it and let it sit for 2 days. Still flares out.
Right now, I have two pieces, the sear and the sear rod part. If I try to install the sear onto the brass part, it bends outward and it's as it was before. How do I get it on there without it bending? Or let me say it like this, when AGD assembles them, what do they do to get them together.
That's as best as I could describe it. Hopefully all of you will know what I'm talking about. I'll take a picture of what I'm talking about if you want me to.
EDIT: I had thought that maybe I'd have to unscrew the sear rod and the gold part would seperate. But then I'd have to guess where the proper length is for the rod when screwing it back in.
