AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
my velocity is way up, and i'm using the red spring, and if i lower the velocity, the gun chuffs, whats wrong w/ my gun? and how do i fix it? thx and its an RT Pro w/ ULT.
Assuming your velocity is up high enough make sure you have plenty of lube on the bolt and lvl 10 white o-ring and give that a try. If that does not do it try the next size up carrier (You want the largest carrier that does not leak). If all else fails use the small spring.
i changed the carrier size, but i don't know my velocity setting as of right now, but i think its still high. if i go to the chrono and its too high and the next carrier up leaks, what do i do?
Keep in mind... if you are going up in carrier size you MIGHT have to replace the carrier O-Ring, especially if you force the marker to cycle by cranking up the velocity.
Automag RT-Pro
68 Classic
BE 1999 Rainmaker
PMI Trracer
So many guns, So little time.
Get the marker working with the shortest (gold) spring first. Then put the next size spring in. and increase the velocity setting to bring the gun back up to operating speed. The gun should stop cycling approximately 20 fps below your operating velocity when you have the proper spring in place.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
