    Will this work?

I went and bought a radio shack wall charger for my emag but I got a 1000mA power adapter instead of the 1500 on accident. Will it still work?

Yes, but you won't get a full charge...

Do you know why? The charger says that the mA on the battery has to be lower than the charger. I thought that it may just take longer to charge but I dont know electricity

Actually, it'll work, but it'll take half again as long as the 1500.

What's the mAH on the battery? It's probably something like 1200 MaH, so a 1000 mA charger will take 1.2 hours, or an hour and twelve minutes to charge. Of course, all of these numbers are actually approximate.

mAh is 650 on the battery and the mA is on the charger is 1000. Does it make a difference that it says mA and not mAh?

            Yes

Mah is a measure of current capacity. Ma is a measure of current.

I posted a DIY emag charger circuit on this forum that can be made for about $12.
