    tac-one and a stiffi switch

Im thinking about buying a stiffi switch kit for my tac-one, but I have a concern. I know that the barrel reciever on the tac - one is recessed into the gun, and logically this may cause problems with some barrels that are a little fat. Does anyone know if there is any problem with that barrel and this gun. further more any opinions on the barrel itself anyone own one and have it on their agd marker? Any input is greatly appreciated, Thanks (iknow this smiley is supposed to look like a ninja, but he kinda looks like he is bound and gagge

p.s. I did search the site and saw the previuse threads on the stiffi kits but only found them to be vague on this particular question. The jist that im getting is that it does fit but VERY snugly so much so that you need an allen wrench to remove it and even so its a pain. Is this correct?

I do not know about the switch kit but I have the regular stiffi barrels on both my tacs and they fit fine.I had heard that the barrel would unscrew from the sizer and the sizer would remain inside the body somewhere but could not verify that.Seems like that would be a bugger. As far as use,I love mine and plan on buying another for my third one.I have the 16 and the 14 and they are both super quiet.Good luck!

      no problem

I have both and they work great together. The barrel will unscrew and leave the sizer in the marker, but I made a tool from some dowel rods ($1.00) to remove the sizer. Search for "sizer removal tool" in my threads.

This is the forum for trouble shooting your Airgun Designs products, including the Automag, RT, E-Mag, and WarpFeed. Also a great place to ask technical questions about non AGD products. An Airsmith's homeroom!

That is what Mikey was speaking about, buddy.

            photo

            I can't get the photo to upload, I'll check the guidelines. It's only a 70kb, 400 x 270 image.

Also, if you paid your friend $100 for the kit you were undercharged. Please send $75 to me to make up for this oversight. I take Paypal.
