very cool. how do you like the splinter trigger?

also, you say it cost ~86.00. which parts is that including? just the ram 3-way, and reg?
yea its a sleeper =)... i went to the local pb shop with it (they dont know what a pneumag is)
there like ill a mag , come on ..then i let them shoot it and they were amazed there like, thats not even a trigger pull, anyway... yea that 86 bucks includes the lpr along with a fabco 3 way and a clippard actuator mav-3 i think..and some dremeling , i can understand why a pneuframe would be so expensive now there is alot of work to be done.

That has got to be one of the cleanest mods of any gun I've ever seen. Great job. I have to ask the following questions, though:

            1. You gave us the parts list which is great, but what about a supplier? Surely you didn't order everything from separate places, did you?

            2. Didn't quite catch what frame you're using. Looks alot like the intelliframe on my Tac-One. If I missed the information, I apologize :)

            3. I'm a newb when it comes to anything but mechanical guns: What exactly are the benefits of this setup. I can understand electros: Differing firing rates at the flick of a switch, sensors to prevent chops, etc. But fully pneumatic operation?

Again: Nice job on the customizing. Looks really professional.

He is using a black Intelliframe. The benefits of using a pneuamtic setup is that with the normal sear, you are using punds of force to push the sear to push the on/off pin in. With a pneumatic setup, a ram or actuator is doing all that pushing for you when all your doing, is pushing a tiny rod in a 3 way in to let air to that ram or actuator. It is much like an electro in that you can have a 1mm or less pull but instead of a board sending a signal to a noid, you have a 3 way sending air fueling a ram.
The only real disadvantge would be you might notice a slight decrease in shots out of you tank but shouldn't be too bad. As far as parts, you have to talk to him on that one.

well i bought my parts directly from the clippard.com website. and i bought my 3 ways directly from the fabco-air site, its an msv-1, clippard mav-3 and some fittings and hoses and that palmer micro rock lpr. dawg047 basically outlined the benefits, light pull, very short pull, i think its 1mm but bacially i can vibrate my finger on the trigger and it will rip, and i can walk it ok to, its real close to an electro pull, without the batteries

                            Does this look right???

I'm trying to make sure I have this right. The Pneumatics for the trigger frame should look like this:

Feedback would be HIGHLY appreciated. Thanks.

thats correct, but if u use a floating pin for the actuation of the sear u wont be needing a qev , it saves u alot of drill work, leaving that qev out.

what i mean by floating is just cut a pin the right lenght and width, that will slide into the mav-3 and is not connected to the mav-3 in anyway except its just being pushed, so that if the sear happends to come back quicker than the mav-3 does, it hits the floating pin anyway, therefore eliminating any need to use a qev. plus using a 3 way is like having a qev anyway, i dont know who came up with using a qev

Does anyone have extra 1/16 hose laying around that I can use? I was looking online and everyone is selling the hoses at 50 ft for $10.

Thanks fdjizm. I might need more info on what you mean by floating pin. Anychance you can take some pics of your "floating pin" setup or do a sketch? A list of all the part you used would be useful too. I'll leave out the QEV on my Pneu Mod since it'll save me some time and $$$.

Here's my parts list (Part x qty) :

                                MPA-1 x 1
                                Fabco-Air MAV-1 x 1
                                11750-2-PKG x ???
                                11755-PKG x ???
                                11752-5-PKG x ???
                                CT2-PKG x ???
                                Hose x <5 ft

I need to know how many parts I need to purchase (marked ???). If anyone can give me these qty, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
