The power feed prevents the balls from getting blown back up into the hopper by blowback. When the mag fires, most of the air is sent out the barrel but some goes out the feed tube. If there are not enough balls in the hopper, this can send balls up with enough force to break them.

If your looking down your marker, the powerfeed model has a tube that goes over the body of the marker where as the stock one just sticks out to the right and you can see straight down the barrel.

Best to get a mag with the powerfeed or with the level 10 (if a center feed).

go to imageshack.us and host your picture, copy the link/thumbnail and post it here. You can't just [IMG] [/IMG] everything

I would say 200 is too high, unless the tank is brand new,....

Go around the forums and look for something that suits your tastes, there are many different cheap configurations that people have on their classics...

'Mags are better than the Spyders and Tippmanns your friends have, and are pretty much the most reliable semi's out there. I've had my original 'Mag for over 10 years with no real problems. Three are times where she's sat around for quite a while too, I just pick her up and go.

$200 is a little high, but it depends on what upgrades the marker has. Definitely post a picture so we can all see! You're lucky as a buyer, you've decided to buy a 'Mag when the market is saturated and you can get one with a lot of upgrades cheap as hell.

Are you going to use HPA, or CO2?

Overtime I have become a complete REC ball players. I started paintball in Florida playing with a highly tuned up X-mag a few years ago, but I eventually moved to ST. Louis. In doing so I left tournaments and stuff behind.

Since moving to St. Louis I've come across 2 emags and 2 RTs but only emag one has electronic mode, so it's all machanical. If you are and just want to play rec ball, mags are very good guns.

If you buy good value oil the gun has pretty much no mantinace. I have never had a problem with any of the mags I've used and some had sat around for a few months/years between plays. Only needs value to be opened to check that no o-rings have decaded or broke, oil and ready to go.

Im so bad at answering questions

I checked the tank out with the dot #'s but someone please let me know if I'm being dumb. As far as I know the mother's tip top(ish).

So thats what powerfeed is. Groovy. So dose lvl 10 fix the blowback a bit or is there a powerfeed mainbody you can throw on there to work? What I said could be compleat nonsense so please let me know. Can the Classic be beefed up to be similar to the P.F.?

Darricks, if you have something better I can be in Salem in thirty minutes

You could get a powerfeed body for that if you wanted but that would only be a small, and perhaps imperceptible, improvement. If you do that go the extra step and get a ULE center feed body.

Level 10 is an anti chop bolt.

That marker looks to be close to new, but even so $200 is a bit high. I've seen a lot of similar packages for around $150 on ebay.

Well Ive been thinking about the upgrades that ill do if i get this sucker. Im curious how much of a problem that blow back thing will be. I dont think that the bolt has been modded but these are all things I plan to bring up when I talk about price. If itll do good for starters thats all I need. That seems to be the case if the price will be right.

How bad is that chopping problem though?

Not bad. For years I had the basic "Level 7" bolt and the only time I chopped was when I forgot to turn my hopper on. You'll need a motorized hopper BTW.

An Intelliframe will be a great upgrade for that. The stock trigger pull is nice, but with an Intelliframe it's even better.

Offer him $100, settle for $150 LOL

OH! I live in Portland. So whoever it was in Salem you got a pal now. Im really interested to see what you have.
Why do you talk like Flanders from the Simpson's? That's funny.

I just bought a Mag 2 months ago. Haven't used it in a game yet...had some problems with it...turned out to be me putting the parts in the wrong way.

I think it's a great gun...learned alot about them in a couple months...lots of upgrades. Probably more expensive and more complicated than the Model98, but better quality.

I can put something together. Is the tank a fiber tank or steel? What is the hydro date on the tank?
