Mag Down!

Setup:
-Lvl10
-Retro
-Warp body
-HPA

Here is the scoop. I just finished my mag. There are a few problems however. Whenever I shoot fast or try to speed up at all the gun stops shooting. The trigger goes soft and won't recharge. Before with a powerfeed body i would have to reset the bold once in a while. Also just today i shot a few rounds threw it, the trigger stopped working and I got a huge barrel leak! And one last thing whenever I would gas it up once the tank put in its pressure the gun would cock and fire a shot on its own right after gas up.

any help would help!

Maybe your carrier is too small. Have you checked all the o-rings to make sure they are all in good condition? What part did you put on your marker that started the leak?

the shotdown has been there since i got the valve. so have all of the other problems. Always there. do you have aim?

did you buy the valve used? if so you might want to check the o-rings or put some new ones in. Also if you didn't put the lvl 10 on yourself it might not be tuned right.

With the retro-valve, you may need a new regulator piston. This is what I had to do with my retro-valve. The retro valves were were designed before Level 10. Try turning up your velocity to get the gun shooting at a decent speed like 280 fps. If your velocity is too low, you will get this shootdown/slow recharge. Try to fire a few slow strings and then a few fast strings. If the gun does not recharge fast enough, turn up the velocity more. If the gun starts to leak out the back of the velocity adjuster at this velocity, you will need the new regulator piston. The older piston was designed to blow off excess pressure when you turned it up too high. Level 10 requires this excess pressure so there is a newer regulator piston to make it work.

I think i got it! after cutting away a piece of the rail to fit the warp body i missed a small hump. The body moves back and forth on a small hump. I will keep you updated

that might be the problem, if not try losening your front screw just a little bit, you are probably getting alittl bit of bolt stick

If the body doesn't fit tight on the rail, the bolt could bind and stick. This would cause the trigger to go limp. Also, check your carrier size. Maybe it is too tight, which could also cause sticking. Always do your level 10 oring sizing and calibration without any powertube shims in place. You can add them back in after the mag is properly tuned.

Another thing that causes massive shootdown and sticking, is a bolt spring that is weak or worn. If the bolt spring is new, then this is probably not the case.

When you gas up a retro valve, it is best to hold the trigger. Once the gun is gassed up, release the trigger. This method will set the orings and prevent any accidental discharge.
