quick o-ring question

    quick o-ring question

    so if i have a strand/string coming off the new regulator seat o-ring i only shot a case with, i should definately put replace it.... i swear, im chewing these o-rings up like crazy. bleh im gonna cut it off for now

    That happen to me but it was pieces of teflon tape that blown into the reg.

      I take it you are shooting a retro mag by your forum name. The reg seat oring shouldn't take any abuse. I shoot many cases or paint plus countless dry fires through my mags without ever changing an oring. I bought a retro oring kit 5 years ago and still have most of it. I also have most of my classic oring kit that I bought back in 1993. Orings are not something that gets chewed up if you properly lubricate your mag and prevent debris from getting in.
      Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
