O-rings usually go in a frozen mag as ive seen. Lucky it usually doesnt do permanent damage.

and i thought about putting it right on top. but that makes it a little bigger than what i want with the stick feed up there too (its just pump pistol not stock class) the only reason im using 12 grams is so the gun is completly self contained and no matter what in a pinch i can rock a couple shots off before reloading my E.

i was thinking of mounting it under the trigger guard but that might be uncomfortable.

(if the 12 grams are all gas why would the sydarms occasionally have problem with freezing up?)
i should be asking how do i rectify that in a classic on 12 grams.

They are all gas. But, when CO2 rapidly expands (being sucked out of the 12g and into the gun), it starts to drop in temp, thus leading to freezing.

Tanks, hoses, and asa's will get warm if you pop off a long string using HPA.

I mounted mine to a classic rail ... not on top, but alongside the rail, and therefor alongside the body as well. I also was looking for a solution that was as compact as possible.

You do know that the grooves that go down both sides of an Automag Classic rail are sight rails don't you?

The reason I wouldn't mount a changer directly to the valve with just a 90* fitting (or any hard fitting) without the changer being supported any other way, is that you're going to be moving it around when you change the 12 grams. It probably wont be long before you get an air leak at least. If you fall and really crank on it, you could damage the valve to the point it wont seal well.
