Nope, they call them 12v because the motor runs on... hah, gotcha, 18 volts.
I think earlier versions did have a voltage reg, but the new ones are just an 18 volt PWM. A common mod to older ones was to replace the voltage reg with a 15V reg.

the 18v (as advertised) revvies were usually called an 18V "shredder" due to the adverse effects it had on paint. :)

I would leave that mag as is, besides putting a gas through so you arent triple regging it. *maybe* a centerfeed body, now that you have LX. You wont have any feeding problems that way (i don't on my vf micromag). years ago, that would be considered the sickest setup on the block, and as far as i am concerned, it still is. Still shoots just as nice as it did 6 years ago.

If by "fun" you meant "cases of paint and air shot" during a game...

Buy a force feed hopper (Halo, Egg, Warp), ULE Body, and make a pneumatic frame. A better HP reg might help too.

Mind you I dont know much about mags, but I have a pretty good knowledge of paintball in general. Your best bet for accuracy is good paint to bore match. Saying that, you might think of getting a couple other barrels of different bore size than your current barrel. Another thing that factors into accuracy is consistency of your air. I would say that you have a pretty damn good setup with your three regs, but it might be a little bit overkill. And I know that mags are pretty darn reliable without having to do much to them at all.

So I would say to increase your accuracy, get a couple of other barrels and then size up your barrel every time you play to get the best paint to bore match.

Nice mag. As has been previously stated, it would be a good idea to remove the extra regulator. It is not needed on a mag, it is extra weight, and is probably slowing the recharge time between shots. A lighter barrel would do wonders for the feel. If your budget allows, a deadlywind CF barrel and a ULE body (you'll have to remove the twistlock assy from your rail) would make an awesome light weight marker.

PS I'm guessing by your screen name that you are a VW nut. What's the VR in?

Dunno how long you had tank or if you bought it when you got back to playing. They do make tanks that are considered 'low pressure' with output pressures around what your saying and 'hi pressure' that are 750 psi and up. Us mag owners want the hi pressure output tanks

I have one of those barrels though I usually play with 10" one piece stainless DYE.

              OBTW nice gun :)

if you want accurate and reliable you basically have it with no upgrades needed. Like everyone else I would say get rid of the reg on the marker and go with a gas through forgrip or any type of foregrip and you are good to go.
