The situation:
I have 2 Xmags, and as some of you will remember i had some issues with one of them that incorporated not firing in manual mode. I've tried alot of things, and when it seemed to work fine, it didnt a few weeks later.
The problem:
The xvalve will cock the lvl10 bolt when gassed up and i am able to shoot once in manual mode. But the bolt will not go back all the way, so i have to push it back a little to catch the sear. On the other hand the gun will shoot fine in either emode or hybrid. When i put my finger in front of the bolt, the bolt does stop, but it keeps venting air untill i force it back past the sear.
Since i have 2 xmags i swapped out parts to isolate the problem and soon found that it was something with the valve. I checked everything and eventually i noticed that the on/off pin in the xvalve was longer than the one in my emag valve. (STD Xmag) Swapped it and whattayaknow, problem solved!
The question:
Can i just file down the pin to the correct length? Or is there a ideal length for the xmag?
The pin in the emag valve is 0.706" and the one in the xvalve is 0.730"
Thanks for your input!
