how is the switch held in? or is it just a tight fit that it just stays in?

Hey.. on mine the switch stays in wiht a bracket i cut out of plastic.. i have the bracket glued in wiht hot glue i'll take more pics tonight...

as for the thing abotu the red wire... i think this is a good suggestion.. some one may want to talk tom into changing this .. i duno. any way instead of stripped the coating off the red wire i suggest u do what i did and take the motor cover plate off the bootm by removing the 4 screws.. then simply solder a new wire onto the connection witch the red wire goes too.. and run it out the same little slit the other wires come out.. i'll takes pics to night if ur not sure what i' talking about..

AHH! Otis, why diddnt you tell me this before? lol
What I did to keep the switch in, is I just cut off a piece of plexiglass and stuck it in with the switch, and put the grips on. I was going to make a bracket, but I realized it would stick out too much. The way I did it was compleately unpermanant. I'll take a pic if you guys want tommorow.
You can also use plasic, or anything for that matter unstead of plexiglass. It just has to be sturdy enough and fit well enough to keep the switch in the right position.

            ok

i used very hard foam in my sterling as it "squashed" around it as well..ok its not the best in this situation but it worked for me..

wow, i really like how you have that plug right into the side of the hopper. how did you do that part? im still not sure what you mean about the red wire. and it doesnt look like the trigger rod is pushing on the switch right. its not quite pushing on the roller is it?

I'll take some more pics for you guys so you can better understand what Im talking about. However, I WONT take my revy apart, because It is really a pain to put it back together. (my revy is clear, so I'll take some pics from the outside)

                            ok, goodie, pics..
Notice in the hopper there is a little thing sticking up with electrical tape on it. THATS the solder I used on the red wire. I went a little.. shall we say.. Overboard.
Im too lazy to take the hopper apart and shove it back in so its not sticking out with the paintballs, but I'll get around to it sooner or later.

just some pics so you can see where the red wire is. It connects the board to the motor, with an assortment of other colored wires.

Here is a pic of the switch & plexiglass in there. Notice the holes in the plexi glass.. I was going to do it like otis did, but this way is easier.
