Brian, That happens when the on/off is seating itself. What kind of valve & on/off are you using? Can you messure your on/off pin? If you use an RT valve with a emag pin your marker can act funky.

I've got the X-valve wiht the emag pin and that special o-ring; doesn't really look like an o-ring , looks more like a flat washer. I forget the name of it.

        My friends Ion...

        Hey guys,

Is there anyone know anything about Smart parts ions? my friend is having a problem with his ion marker, he is unable to change the settings. for some reason it will not take new settings although it goes to the motions, but they don't apply.

is there a step that we're possibly missing? or do these guns have problems with their electronics?

        thanks,
        Brian

If you increase the dwell you increase the amount of energy time to the solenoid. What was the dwell before you changed it? My dwell on all of mine are set to 14 with good consistancy. If 15 works for you I would keep it there. You may want to take it apart your noid and clean it out with some electrical cleaner or metal polish to make a better magnetic attraction to the plunger. Just make sure to remove the axcle pin first before seperating the rail from the lowers. If you ever play in the Bay Area let me know, I'd like to see another emag on the feild besides mine ...

BigEvil is correct about "FIX". It keeps the HES from activating another shot (ie bounce) with only one pull....

Unbelievable! It's such a small world, I work about a mile form there. You aught to join our group and come to our next full moon game which will be next month. we have hpa, co2 and paint. the games are free to members, but you'll have to pay for your consumables. $10 for hpa and $5.00 for co2 one-time fee. paint is sold just about cost I think it's roughly about $10 over cost, bot quite sure on that. We've got three donated fields and maybe a fourth by august. I'll know more in a couple of weeks about that.

But hey, we'd love to have you and your friends up to participate, you just need to join the group first. We're not in it for money, we just what to play. And the more players, the better the games!

We've got a couple members who live in Vallejo who come up for our night games and when we have a game in our tree forest.

If you're interested, go here to join: http://combatpaintball.net/cgi-bin/q...d.cgi?action=5

It's really cool to run into someone who lives practically down the road on such as the internet as vast as it is...

                              On that note,

Hey, I've just discovered that the ground screw on my E-Tac is loose just the other member suspected. that would explain the intermitting problem. I'll keep you guys posted on how that turns out.
