    Big Gun No Bang

I am the proud owner of an E-MAG that will not fire. I air up the gun, and pull the trigger and to my surprise nothing happens. You can hear the sear assembly clicking but there is no BANG. When I turn the velocity adjustment to the right the valve starts to leak from the hex key hole. All I have to say is "WHAT THE ****." I thought it was a great gun for $200 with a HPA tank. I guess I should have asked if it worked. Well here I am trying to figure it out, any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I am sure that you took off the safety. I had problems with that a time or two.
I think there for, I am I think. am I?

Sounds like the safety to me and btw the safety is behind the grip near the back of the gun

I'll give you $250 for it and you can keep the HPA!

Are you using a high output pressure tank (~850) with at least 1000 psi in it? Make shure the rear push button safety is off and your battery is charged.

Totally check the safety. Me and Ninjeff slaved over his new emag trying to get it to work for half a day. Later that night after talking to people here on AO we discovered that it was indeed the safety and that we were in fact dumb. Stupid safety.

Oh and the sear can get in the way of the safety making it really really hard to disengage.

wow I just said safety a lot. Safety safety...

              GOOD LUCK!

                  It's Not The Safety

As much as you all want it to be the safety it is not. Please do not insult my intelligence. Disengaging the safety on any firearm is of utmost importance for the weapon to fire.

                  KEEP TRYING

check the solenoid plunger rod. i had a problem with my emag that sounds similar.
if the rod is bent just a tad it will cause you major problems. the sear assy. should move
freely not binding at all when the gun is not gassed up.

Go to www.com and register he is the maker of the Xmod software. There is guide on how to adjust the sear and noid. Also check that the board grounding screw is snug, & the noid is clean (use metal polish on the inside). Dose your marker fire in M mode?
