$200 and you got an E-Mag and HPA tank? That's one hell of a deal I must say. Whatever the problem is, it shouldn't be a hard problem to fix, just finding out where it is might take awhile. I really wish I could help you out, I don't know too much about Mags, especially E-Mags and the like. I'm sure someone here will be able to help you fix your problem though. Good luck!

Be nice. The safety on my emag when I first got it would keep the marker from firing sometimes even when it looked like it was off. I finally just took it out to get rid of the hassle. Starting with the simplest option is also the best way to start troubleshooting anything.

Ok first you asked our opinion and we have given it, we are not trying to insult your intelligence one bit, most of us are giving you advice from our own experience. When I got my first used emag the gun wouldn't fire with the safety on or off, I had to remove the safety and straighten it a bit because the previous own had somehow managed to bend it just enough that it wouldn't allow the gun to fire period. That was my experience now with that in mind if it isn't the safety, by your description the valve is getting air so the valve sounds fine and you said you can hear the noid clicking when you pull the trigger so the electronics sound find. That leaves you with a possible problem with the sear, the plunger that goes into the noid might be way out of spec, may have lengthened itself to the point that the gun will not fire so double check the length of the sear rods using the site flyingpootang recommended.

              Ok Sorry.

Dude, its probably the safety. I have to push mine SUPER SUPER hard sometimes. Give it a shot.
My vote for a classic reply to a thread :P

SOmetimes I have the same problem. I am not sure what it is, but try holding down the trigger when you gas it up (while in mech mode) otherwise turn the velocity up a bunch.

Does the emag fire in manual mode? Thats the first step in troubleshooting an emag.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Does it have a level 10? Try tuning it using the largest carrier that doesn't leak. Do this without any shims installed.

Does it have an emag valve or a retro valve? Check the on-off pin length. It should be .712", or if it is an older model it could be a .725".
