See, I don't mind welding mig and grinding/milling/turning parts to finished dimensions afterwards.
I'm more about functionality than the "roll of dimes" look.

My only concern is the fact that welding .050-.065 sheets and tubes will be hard for a noob without a TIG.
I've pretty much decided on a lower power DC tig when I get started welding someday. Then I'll move up to a real tig machine later.

Besides, there's still several machines I've decided are more important than a welder and everytime I look... I find mroe tooling I need.
For example... sine vises are awesome. Don't know why I need one, but they look necessary.

      More tooling...

:) You could use some collets for your mill instead of using a drill chuck, in general thats a big no-no.

You will find that every additional tool you buy for your mill saves you a ton of time and money. After you use it once you will kick yourself for not getting it sooner. I've never purchased any tooling I've regretted. :)

Do you have a set of parrels yet? It looked like you weren't using them in your pneumatic how to video.

Don't be afraid to go the economy route with the mill you are running, cheap tooling are money makers. www.useenco.com is your friend. Watch for specials and free shipping, it adds up. If you don't have a coupon of some sort just google for one.
