The hardest part seems to be finding the spring. I am just going to order some from noxx on mcb. He sells it.

From there it is just finding stuff to shove in there

for dimensions you are mainly looking for length right?

I need number of coils, diameter of the spring, and the diameter of the steel wire and length wouldn't hurt.

Spring diameter is 11/16.
42 coils - includes a double coil to terminate each end.
length is 11 1/4 inches.
gauge of wire I'm not sure - its measuring 2/1000 but my calipers arent so good.
Is that any help?
