I know these do affect each otherm but also can be quite different. What was your material cost for the endeavor and what was your time input? Thanks and great work.

I didn't keep track of time so its hard to say but maybe 10 to 15 hours. My materials cost was about $70 but $15 was a tap for the feed neck.

Steve, it looks much better up close than what the pictures show. True example of a custom build and not assembly.
See you in about a month, hopefully this time we have better paint than that dimpled crap we were shooting.

I'm making a run of bodies for my team mates right now. I 'm also making an extra 5 that is if I don't scrap any. I haven't determined a exact price but I was thinking around $250 with one of my front grips $225 without it. I'm also considering semi custom milling options. to make each a little different.

Does anyone know what was used as the sear pivot in the custom build?

That's a pretty slick set up you have there, I was wondering were did you find the dimensions? or did you just reverse engineer it from your old minimag body? Also did you use CNC for the slot or just a normal mill and some sweet skills?

I reverse engineered it from my ULE body and rail. Everything was done on manual machines except for the lettering. I did that on the CNC. I'm in the process of making 10 more right now. This is my shop I have in my garage.
