    Contest!

I had a little incident while fitting up #2 and stumbled into a technical blunder. While pretty awesome at first I was scratching my head until I figured out what caused it. I thought it was pretty amazing that the trigger was able to fire under it's own weight but this was really bad because I can't ship them like this.

To celebrate not having to go back to the drawing board and start over I'm having a contest! The first person who can say what happened to make it fire like this gets the first Cheater from the next batch free! Answer must be posted here for everyone to see.

I'm hoping to see a little discussion to figure it out and maybe drop a hint or two if it takes too long. Someone better not get this right away!

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rFnmcSmcYdY&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rFnmcSmcYdY&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

(piece of 1/2" delrin rod with a rag wrapped around it like a big rubber band)

Off to work! I'll check in later.

No pressure from the On/Off to resist the piston to give the whole system time to re-set?

I think that's what the delrin rod is there for, acting like the sear pushing on the piston.

The wrag was acting like a rubberband and bouncing the rod back kinda like a Hellfire trigger.

            I'm going to throw out...

Trigger rod is too short and gives the trigger enough room to bounce back at the end of its travel.

I think it's just basic bounce from the trigger but it's kind of hard to tell since your setup is new and no one has dissected it yet

I would have to guess that there is either no return in the trigger rod or piston.

                      What's the BPS on that..lol..

Whatever the problem is, don't fix it till you mount that bastard on a body. See if it'll actually shoot

Is there a spring or magnet return on the top front of the trigger that is causing it to bounce back into the rod?

Was the PSI to the cheater to high causing to much return from the spring?
