I'm assuming that the piston wasn't inside the assembly as it would be shot out, and that caused there to be no back pressure on the trigger pin to help it reset. Sorry if this has been said, didn't really read the thread.

I did not drill dimples yet and the screw worked loose. If your gun does this it is bad. A hunk of brass hammering around in your gun won't last long. I'm going to find some screws that should work for everyone and include pair. Put your grips on before you install it and see how they fit.
