    Educate me , what would be the whole purpose of making a Classic valve out of aluminum ?? Why not just buy an X valve , please give me the long answer

      you could use them with zero rt effect which is what disquals my xvalve from toury play i just turn down my psi but its a pain to do i would rather have a light mag that cant rt ./....

        A friend (the same one with the mill) wanted to make a lighter version of a classic valve. Tom said no, so I am gonna respect that.

          I really don't understand this statement , can't any valve be set up so it won't RT
          You mean to tell me ( meaning just you , not refering to anyone else ) you can't set up an X valve so it won't RT

            I thought the idea behind aluminum classic valves were for co2?

              You could set up an X to not RT, but if you could get a valve that u never need to worry about then why wouldn't u.
              And I dunno, I just love my classics, and i've had many RT/X valves, but the guns I always reach for to play with have a classic on em.
              Besides, I'd imagine there are fields that would still disqualify an RT valve even if u set it up to not RT.

              But oh well, just another pipe dream I guess Will just stick with my hurricane'd classic

                Forget aluminum, what we need is a brass valve. Might not be lighter (ok, not at all lighter) but comes complete with piles of awsome.
