I remeber someone talking about making lexan bodies and using aluminum sleeves everywhere pressure would be exerted on the lexan for safety features. Although I still wouldn't trust it, I think it would be very cool and look good, it'd be especially good for tech classes and the like.

          also

on cockers the operating pressure is so low now a days i wouldnt be at all scared to use a lexan body
id play back so i didnt fall on it even though it still wouldnt break probly just strip out threads maybe but i saw some drunks take chains and firehydrant caps to my dads building sign and they were beating the **** outta it and just scratches is all that happened so why not you need someone proffesional like doc nickel to make something like that man

I looked it up...it is just a kind of crystal structure. However the cost of that stuff isnt cheep. I dont think it will ever be used for paintball. But it would be cool

That looks like a ceramic of sorts made from Alum, not aluminum

(flashback to that british chemistry teacher in high school. *shudder*)

I hear that. My best move ever, a 50-snake run on the break with a Superman in, was with a borrowed Angel.
