    Front Mounted Hopper With Warp...

This is one of many ideas I have for incorporating the warp into the hopper.

This one is my favorite so far...

Now to find a Plastic Molder...

Tell me what you guys think...

i think it looks pretty good but it might be kinda awkward to fill on the field but i guess you'd probably get used to it good idea though

If I remember correctly someone else had this idea a while ago, if you do a really in-depth search you might could dig up something. Seems like a good idea to me though

I had the same idea 4 or 5 years ago, it fell on deaf ears. I still may do one when time permits.

Instead of using a plastic mold, I was going to build it out of sheet aluninum. That way I could shape the hopper to my liking, either weld or machine the warp body, connect the two and your set.

Look through this link, AGD already has a patent on it.

Named after the IBM super computer, Deep Blue is headed by Tom Kaye, president of AGD. This forum is open to the public, but only high end technical subjects are allowed. If your posts don't cut the mustard they will be moved.

                Hey Big,

Did you ever build a prototype?

I did mold a hopper for it, but I started to use the warp when I played. Just couldn't bring myself to cut it up.
The hopper itself needs some sort of system to feed the warp, gravity just wouldn't feed consistently. Thats about where I stopped.

I've been thinking about it again and would really like to give the bottom breech idea a go.
If it weren't for the several other projects collecting dust in my shop I just might accomplish something.

Edit: Thinking about it more, the Q loader really fits this idea.

Seems that Great Minds think alike...

My problem with how the warp is used know, just seems so primitive. It should be utilized better by making it part of the hopper and attached close to the gun...

If AGD did patent this, then they should put it out on the market or sell the patent. I really don't see the use of patenting somthing and then never doing anything with it...

So AGD (Tom), if you see this and want to get rid of a dusty old patent in the back of your drawer, I'm sure Big and I would love to buy it off you...

Me too, I was just going to build my own body (out of aluminum, strictly for prototype purposes) to house the Warp components and also a Revy motor. It's my intention to only use the mechanical parts so if it's a flop, I'm only out my time.

If it weren't for the several other projects collecting dust in my shop I just might accomplish something.
I'm with you there, so many ideas, and so little time. But now that I have a TIG welder the project is a little closer..

Well I think there is a market for an upgrade like what's being discussed here. The Q-Loader doesn't impress in it's design. The function is on tract though.

I wonder how many people would be interested in this, if they could simply purchase a shell (2 halves) and install the Warp components and the components from a Revy or Halo, in order to do a conversion like what has been described here by BnS and Magaman???
