The e-bolt board is capped at 17 bps but the ram itself can only cycle about 13 bps than it starts to make incomplete cycles and chops paint. Natural Newbie on model98.net cusyom-built his own ram and his supergun shoots like 20 bps.

You should be able to run HPa into a tippy fine, I've never had problems with it on my 1-5 or 98c, not sure why it won't woek on yours

-EDIT: Or you can just take all that crap off and stick a toothpick in it. Then you'll need that halo for sure. I can vouch a blazing fast 25-35 bps no doubt.
yes that will work and save you $

Waiting on a date to leave for BMT. :shooting:

Let me get this straight. The TIPPMANN e-bolt is capped at 13 bps and chops like mad after that.
The BSA e-bolt is capped at 17 in semi however it will start chopping before you get to 15.

And yes you can run HPA no problem.

actually I think both are capped at 17, but yeah after about 13 on both they justy chop like crazy. I can't remeber off-hand what the difference between the two kits, but the BSI kit is better hands down

The BSI is just capped higher, has a faster returning ram, and also works with the original Model 98.
